Let's just look

For as long as I can remember our Daddies have talked about retiring in the road. We would hear stories about all the places we would go and all the fun we would have and all the things we would get to see.🏕🏔🏝 Then April 2016, Daddy had a day off and they went to Camping World in Richmond...."just to look" Well my brothers and I know what that usually means, and Papa just bought a new truck but we didn't want to get our hopes up.

Imagine our surprise when they pulled up with this baby. A new 23' Rockwood Mini Lite! We couldn't believe it. Spike got so excited that I think he tinkled a little but no one else noticed.😂 Papa took us out to show us around. It was sooooo pretty and had that new car smell. Papa showed us how the slide out kitchen worked and all the new appliances.

Daddy showed us how the table folded down to make a bed which was to be ours😂😂.I really don't know if he truly believed we would fall for that or not. I was already eyeing the fold down queen bed

Spike and I jumped up and tried it out and I must admit it was rather comfy😴 There was lots of storage and we even get a drawer for our treats and toys!

We learned all about Rockwood Travel Trailers and how they are made in Indiana. The salesperson, Linda, said Rockwood is one of the best made trailers around. She also said that most people trade up for a larger unit within four years. Papa laughed and said no way... this one has to make it until retirement. Well, we will see about that😁

Daddy showed us around the outside which even has an outside shower for dirty paws🐾

Papa took the owners manual to read but I think his eyes glazed over after about 15 minutes. We are so excited to learn all about our new RV and take it on the road! Daddies said in about two weeks and after a couple of nights sleeping in the driveway and we can plan our first trip.
